Registered Nurse - Postpartum

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and coordinate with the healthcare team to deliver quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological health, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop individualized care plans involving patients, families, and physicians, including education and follow-up support.
• Lead and coordinate care delivery, delegate tasks appropriately, and manage resources efficiently.
• Evaluate patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, revising care plans as needed.
• Maintain professionalism by adhering to legal and ethical standards, documentation, and scope of practice.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state, with ability to transfer compact licenses.
• BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong patient care, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity, manual dexterity, mobility for patient handling, and ability to operate equipment. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift as needed.
