- Collect and handle specimens following proper protocols, and perform office testing within scope.
- Maintain exam room cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage medical waste appropriately.
- Provide patient education and electronic copies of medical records.
- Assist with scheduling, registration, check-in/out, and billing processes to support revenue cycle metrics.
- Ensure confidentiality, comply with HIPAA, and work collaboratively with healthcare team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA) preferred.
- Minimum 10 months healthcare or clinical training experience.
- Proficient in vital signs, electronic health records, and basic medical terminology.
- Ability to assist with clinical procedures, communicate effectively, and respect patient confidentiality.
