Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a progressive radiation oncology setting; academic experience preferred.
- Masters-level Board Eligible in medical physics by the ABR.
- Advanced computer skills; experience with HDR, IMRT, and stereotactic treatments is desirable.
- Licenses include BLS certification within 14 days of hire and ABR certification.
- Coordinate physics staffing and cross-training across multiple treatment modalities.
- Develop and implement evidence-based patient care protocols to optimize outcomes.
- Support research initiatives and clinical education programs.
- Perform acceptance testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and safety activities for physics equipment.
- Document physics services and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and complete assigned goals.
