Qualifications Include
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Preferred certifications such as BLS, ACLS/ALS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials; some certifications may be required or needed within specified timeframes
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
