We are seeking a qualified PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for our Hurricane office location. This office is located in Hurricane WV and provides service to the counties of Cabell, Wayne, Putnam and Kanawha.

Duties:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
• Dialyze patients with kidney disease
• Lift and transfer patients who require assistance with mobility
• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
• Provide care for patients with special needs, including behavioral health and neonatal ventilator support
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow documentation standards
• Monitor medical equipment, including DME (durable medical equipment) and Botox injections
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in good standing with the state board of nursing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of nursing standards of practice and regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
