Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support culinary staff when needed
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas during service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Contribute to catering and banquet setups by ensuring all dishware is clean and ready for use
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and efficiency throughout the shift
Skills
- Strong understanding of food service operations and restaurant or hotel experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, serving, or catering is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward hospitality services
- Basic culinary knowledge including cooking support is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety regulations
