Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated personal home helpers, cleaners, and handy workers to provide exceptional support in residential settings. Locations are in the county of Calloway so you will need your own transportation. Need help in homes, rentals, resorts, etc. These positions are great jobs for MSU students that need flexible schedules around their class schedules. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist clients with maintaining a clean, organized, and comfortable home environment. You will play a vital part in delivering high-quality cleaning and household assistance, ensuring each client’s space is spotless, safe, and welcoming. Whether performing routine housekeeping tasks or tackling specialized cleaning projects, your proactive attitude and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in our clients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures to maintain hygienic living spaces
• Execute laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely while adhering to proper handling and sanitation protocols
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities like yard tidying or outdoor surface cleaning as required
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture or appliances safely
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on work progress, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping management, or janitorial roles; hotel or commercial cleaning experience is a plus
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including surface disinfection and floor maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with various cleaning equipment, tools, and detergents used in household environments
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Outdoor work experience is advantageous for roles involving yard or exterior surface maintenance
• Flexibility to adapt to different household routines and client preferences while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
