Job Summary
The EI Child Referral Recruiter is responsible for identifying and recruiting eligible infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) for Early Intervention services. The role builds referral partnerships with healthcare providers, hospitals, daycare centers, schools, and community organizations, educates families about EI services, assists with the referral process, and coordinates with the intake and service coordination teams to ensure timely access to services.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and generate Early Intervention child referrals.
- Develop relationships with referral sources and community partners.
- Conduct outreach and educate families about EI services.
- Assist families through the referral process.
- Coordinate referrals with EI intake and service coordination teams.
- Maintain accurate referral records and meet referral goals.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, Early Intervention, case management, healthcare marketing, community outreach, social services, or pediatric healthcare.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, pediatric clinics, or community organizations is preferred.
- Knowledge of the New York State Early Intervention Program is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Education, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, networking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
