Personal Caregiver / Assistant (Part-Time – 2-4 Hour Shifts)
Location: Irvine Spectrum, Irvine CA 92618
Overview:
I’m a 29 year old male paraplegic seeking a reliable, respectful, and organized caregiver/personal assistant to help with day-to-day living and home management. This is a part-time position with flexible shifts. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Light household tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying, light cleaning)
- Running errands (grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, etc.)
- Organizing paperwork, supplies, and home items
- Assistance with basic mobility routines such as positioning or light stretching
- Occasional assistance with mobility-related tasks (no heavy lifting)
- Occasional assistance with outings such as errands, appointments, or grabbing lunch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment
- Clear and professional communication
Requirements:
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable with light physical tasks
- Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor
- Must maintain confidentiality and respect personal boundaries
- Experience as a caregiver or personal assistant is a plus, but not required
- Eligible or willing to work under California’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program
