Caregiver

Seeking a reliable, professional female caregiver for hands-on personal care in a private home and public work setting. I am a full-time wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and a working professional (LCSW), looking for consistent, respectful support—not a babysitting role.

Schedule:

• Friday through Sunday | 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Occasional weekday shifts may be required to cover other staff
• Must be dependable; slight flexibility may be needed

Pay:

• $27/hour

Responsibilities:

• Personal care (hygiene, toileting, dressing, feminine care)
• Transfers (wheelchair, bed, bath chair)
• Meal prep (no feeding required)
• Housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, organizing)
• Assist with medication organization, including refilling weekly pill containers (no administration required)
• Drive, clean, and help manage client’s vehicle (including maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep)
• Provide ongoing care for a large dog, including feeding and cleaning up after pet

Requirements (Read Carefully):

• Female caregiver (required)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license clean record
• Must pass Live Scan
• Must lift/support up to 150 lbs
• Must stay on-site entire shift (no leaving)
• Reliable childcare required (if applicable)
• Comfortable with intimate care (tampons, NuvaRing)
• Comfortable around large dogs
• Must speak clear English & provide 2 forms of ID
• Must maintain good personal hygiene and arrive to shifts free of strong odors (including smoke or alcohol)

Work Expectations:

• Must be attentive and available at all times during shift
• Limited phone use (emergencies/client communication only)
• Dress code: casual attire; nails must be trimmed
• Tennis shoes required (good support and grip)
• No scrubs

Preferred:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)
• Experience with cerebral palsy or physical disabilities
