What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Aide, Caregiver position at Personal Care Operations?
Personal Care Operations is seeking a Personal Care Aide to assist individuals with disabilities in Charles Town, WV. The position involves providing in-home care services to the clients; however, the employee will reside in their own home and commute to the worksite. Starting wage is $15/hour. Initial schedule Monday-Friday afternoons through evenings.
Duties include personal care assistance, help with Activities of Daily Living, mobility help, behavioral support, help support independent living skills, health and medication monitoring, light housekeeping, companionship, record documentation, and transportation assistance.
Candidates must demonstrate emotional maturity, good judgment, patience, adaptability to family routines, and the ability to maintain a warm, respectful, and professional presence while working in a private family home with vulnerable individuals. This position requires assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
No prior experience or education required, training will be provided. Candidate must complete First Aid and CPR certification, and background check as a condition of employment. Personal Care Operations is an equal opportunity employer.
