Day and Evening shifts available:
30-35 hour/week
12-20 hour/week
Experience with Hoyer lift required. Background check necessary.
PCA will provide support to a 19-year-old female student with disabilities on a college campus and in her dorm in New Haven. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: activities of daily living, dressing, toileting, personal care, transfers, bathing/showering, assistance with lunch/dinner, and accompanying the student around campus. Additionally, the PCA will assist with laundry and light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean dorm/home environment.
Patient has dual residences in Ansonia (home) and New Haven (college campus) . Candidate should be able to provide care at both locations as needed.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, professional, and patient. A valid means of transportation is required to travel to the student's home in Ansonia when school is not in session. Good attendance is essential.
