Multi-Classroom Leader

The Multi-Classroom Leader role, or MCL —a teacher with a track record of high-growth student learning who leads a small teaching team for substantially higher pay— is the foundational role in Opportunity Culture Schools. The MCL continues to teach students directly in various ways for a portion of each day; leads lesson planning, data analysis, instructional changes, and small-group tutoring assignments; coaches team teachers; and co-teaches and models great teaching.

Steps to Fully Complete the Application Process

  • Summary of high-growth data and narrative explanation

  • Two most recent summative evaluation rubrics from NCEES (North Carolina teachers) or the equivalent

  • Leadership Narrative

• Complete the application form.
