Senior Mechanical Engineer-Building Systems

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for new construction, fuel delivery, water treatment, and renovations.
- Develop engineering calculations, system layouts, and design methodologies
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Oversee QA/QC and ensure code compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Interface directly with clients on scope, execution, and deliverables
- Participate in construction administration (RFI’s, submittals, site visits)
- Coordinate cross-functional project efforts
- Interface with clients and support project execution
Experience
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 4-10 years of experience in mechanical systems or building systems design. Contract environment preferred.
- PE license required
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to obtain security clearance
