Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Reno, NV for a Senior Tax Manager. The role involves tasks related to tax planning, tax preparation and review, tax basis financial statement review, business management, and consulting.
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with 10 years experience
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles
- Advise staff accountants through leadership, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Experience in tax planning, financial statement preparation, and business consulting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a deadline-oriented environment
- Proficiency in accounting software, CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement preferred, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor or Master in Accounting or Taxation is required

Position and Responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage the preparation, review, and the accurate and timely filing of all federal and state forms
- Provide quality tax planning and practical approaches to clients’ particular tax needs; including individual, corporate, partnership, trusts and estates
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance and review complex income tax returns
- Consistently meet established deadlines, ensuring that work/review processes are complete and accurate
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
