Duties
- Welcome patients with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression of our practice
- Educate patients about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and financing plans in a clear and motivating manner
- Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating treatment timelines with clinical staff to optimize patient flow
- Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial arrangements to ensure understanding and satisfaction
- Prepare and review treatment plans, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, payments, and post-treatment instructions to foster ongoing engagement
- Maintain organized patient records, update charts regularly, and ensure confidentiality at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment, preferably within orthodontics or dentistry
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex treatment details clearly and confidently
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in office management software and dental/medical scheduling systems
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and financial counseling for healthcare services
- Prior experience in dental office settings or orthodontic practices is highly desirable
