NURSE MANAGER
Job Summary:
A nurse manager is a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing specific wants, daily operations, staffing, ensuring high quality patient care and supervising nursing personnel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Recruiting, training staff, creating schedule, enforcing compliance with policies and regulations, serving as a liaison between staff, physicians and senior leadership.
- Managing budgets, controlling costs and managing inventory and equipment.
- Monitoring the quality of care, implementing improvements and resolving patient and/or family complaints.
- Pomoting professional development and building a positive team environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Clinical experience – Minimum 3 years.
- Deep understanding of clinical procedures often requiring several years of experience.
- Ability to lead teams.
- Manage operational, financial and HR tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
Education and Experience:
- Registered nurse certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree with courses in informatics and/or healthcare information technology required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
