MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience in information systems in professional setting preferred. Information systems experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Computer data entry and basic troubleshooting preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with users.
- Patience, empathy, and a customer-focused approach to support.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assigned tasks and duties are not limited to the essential functions.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Providing technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in person, including setting up new equipment and user accounts.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and software.
- Recording and tracking user requests, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in a help desk system.
- Clearly communicating technical information to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Assisting with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures, including antivirus software and data backups.
- Providing basic training to users on how to use new software and hardware.
- Recognizing when to escalate complex issues to specialized IT teams.
