WE ARE LOOKING FOR FUN, ENERGETIC, PROFESSIONAL, POSITIVE & UPBEAT INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT OUR UPSCALE ASIAN FUSION RESTAURANT, AJA 30A!Aja 30A is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our culinary team. We are searching for friendly, reliable, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in an upscale, team-oriented restaurant environment.
Your primary goal as a sushi chef is to accommodate guest's needs by preparing our cuisine according to established recipes and procedures as well as following safety and sanitation guidelines. In addition, our culinary team:
- At least 3-5 years of experience suggested
- Able to present pictures of your craft
- $20 per hour. Compensation based on skill set and experience
- Part-time and full-time positions available. Some weekend and holiday availability are required. Minimum three shifts per week required.

Your primary goal as a sushi chef is to accommodate guest's needs by preparing our cuisine according to established recipes and procedures as well as following safety and sanitation guidelines. In addition, our culinary team:
- Reports to work on time in correct attire. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all shifts
- Completes all assigned opening, side work and closing duties in a timely manner
- Sets up and restocks stations before, during and after service
- Prepares food such as filleting fish, cutting vegetables for rolls, presentation, etc.
- Creates and dresses rolls and sashimi style dishes along with appetizers prepared at the sushi bar
- Participates in the team-oriented atmosphere as trained
- Demonstrates kitchen savvy, knows weights, measurements and volumes
- Follows all steps and techniques to ensure consistency of product and recipes
- Remains tidy and clean by maintaining a sanitary, food-safe workstation at all times
- Works in front of Guests while preparing dishes with a bright and inviting demeanor
- Immediately recognizes and responds to any Guest needs and/or requests
- Demonstrates the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Possesses knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
