SUMMARY: 

Perry Ellis International is seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist responsible for managing the reception area and providing exceptional administrative support. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, employees, and vendors. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, proactive, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Greet and assist all visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer and route phone calls to appropriate departments or staff members
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
  • Ensures that all employees are using their badges to gain entry into the office. 
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Place orders for office and kitchen supplies and maintain & organize the supply room. 
  • Ensures that all Visitors sign in on the Electronic Check-in Device. 
  • Manage and update calendars, and schedule meetings and appointments for staff
  • Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipients.
  • Manage conference room reservations
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Support other departments as needed with clerical tasks and coordination

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 1- 2 years of experience in an office environment performing receptionist and administrative functions. 
  • High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
  • Ability to proficiently use standard office equipment and software

 

Salary offered will be at the discretion of the Company and based on a candidate’s qualifications.  For this position, the base salary will be between $20.00 - $25.00/hour.  Other benefits associated with the position for eligible associates are listed below.
