Position Purpose
To assist the 4 Assistant Principals to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the administration office.
Essential Job Functions
Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.
Travel Requirements
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate
$17.85 per hour.
Work Schedule
8 hours per day.
220 days per year.

Position Purpose
To assist the 4 Assistant Principals to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the administration office.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains spreadsheet is accurate daily with what staff members are out, their classes, and what guest teacher is covering
- Ensures that the staff member has entered their time off correctly in Frontline to be able to get a guest teacher and properly paid time off
- Calls and texts guest teachers to try and get coverage when positions have not been filled
- Guest teacher packets that include daily schedule, instructions for the classroom, attendance forms, and room rosters
- Ensures that all certified staff time is entered correctly in Frontline and matches payroll records
- Collects all time-off sheets and ensures requested time off matches payroll records
- In addition to working all school days, this position also covers the 1st week of Fall and Spring Break, along with 2-3 weeks of coverage over Summer Break
- Explains parking rules to students and works with administration and Perry Township Police Department as needed
- Manage the daily temporary ID stickers for students who do not have their school issued ID/lanyard.
- Assign appropriate discipline associated with multiple temporary ID stickers.
- Prepare invitation letters for our Homecoming parade. Make contact with each club/sport/team/elementary schools inviting them to participate in our parade.
- Create/update the Master Schedule for teachers for each semester that is shared via Google spreadsheet to the staff.
- Point person for Document Retention.
- Complete Supervision of Activities claim forms for staff and forward to Payroll at the end of each semester.
- Create/update information sheets for staff; Check-Off Sheet, Staff Phone List, Staff Room Assignments, name plates, fire/tornadoes signs for rooms.
- Collect and send Payroll claim forms to PTEC Payroll.
- Collect permission forms for school dances and enter names on a Google form.
- Helping students that are dress coded and entering their discipline in Skyward.
- Assist students with 1 time bus waivers.
- Manage student office workers.
- Lost and found management.
- Constant support to all Assistant Principals and also guidance counselors when needed.
- Send home letters to families of suspended students.
- Write passes for students that need to be seen by the Assistant Principals and guidance counselors.
- Answer phone calls for Team Offices.
- Print class rosters for guest teachers.
- Assist other Team Secretary with Intersession clerical duties if needed.
- Print Early Release Passes on Fridays for juniors and seniors.
- Assists other Admin. Office Assistants as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
