Perry Reid Properties is seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team in Johnston, Iowa. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and a team-first mindset who takes pride in delivering excellent service to our residents and communities.
We believe teamwork is the foundation of success. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our maintenance team to better support our residents and properties.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or general property maintenance is preferred. HVAC certification is strongly desired, or the willingness to obtain certification.
This position may include rotating evening and weekend on-call responsibilities. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and provide their own basic hand tools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and supporting maintenance technicians
- Monitoring quality and completion of maintenance work
- Performing routine property maintenance and repairs
- Daily grounds inspections and clean-up
- Plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Apartment unit turnovers and preparation
- Assisting with HVAC maintenance and repairs
