JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Logistics Specialist to manage critical supply chain functions, encompassing both direct customer service and internal warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure inventory accuracy and timely product delivery through effective execution of customer site inventory management protocols and meticulous inventory control processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute timely and accurate Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) deliveries to designated customer locations
- Maintain professional and effective communication with customer contacts regarding stock levels and delivery schedules
- Pick daily VMI orders
- Replenish inventory at customer sites, ensuring documentation matches physical goods
- Perform regular and scheduled cycle counts of inventory at customer sites to reconcile physical stock with system records
- Ensure all delivery receipts, receiving logs, and inventory count sheets are accurately completed and submitted promptly
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and quality control procedures
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated w/ positive attitude
- Strong customer service and active listening skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills
- Strong time management and multi-task skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Proficient computer skills w/ the ability to learn new software
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics
- Ability to lift and move materials, and stand/walk for extended periods
