Job Overview
We are seeking an individual how can assist with maintaining the sprinkler system, keeping grass growing and buildings and grounds looking good. This is a full-time temporary position, with the possibility of turning into a full-time year round job within a different division in the company. Either with a maintenance crew or renovation crew.
Duties
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Use hand tools for planting, pruning, aerating, and other horticultural activities
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move soil, mulch, equipment, or landscaping materials
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles related to lawn care, gardening, and landscaping
