Job Description
Field operations management: Supervise all daily field activities, coordinate between Perry Interiors Project Management, journeyman painters, and customer general contractors and/or owners.
Scheduling and planning: Ensure jobs are properly staffed to meet schedule and budget expectations.
Quality Assurance and compliance: Ensure work is performed to quality standard, and addressing any quality or performance issues immediately.
Partner Engagement: Act as a professional liaison for Perry Interiors in all situations with clients, trade partners, architects, and owners.
Employee Development: Work to develop the skills of current employees to meet the needs of the work. This includes apprenticeship candidates and tenured journeyman.
Risk and Safety Management: Manage employee safety to ensure it meets company and job specific policies. Ensure all employees are current on required safety training and certificates.
Project budget and cost control: Be aware of project budgets and current costs. Must understand project scope and mitigate deficits with efficiencies suggestions
Company Assets: Responsible for managing company equipment, ensuring it is in good working order prior to use. Address maintenance issues accordingly. Have in depth understanding of current state of all company equipment.
What we’re looking for:
- Preferring construction management experience in excess of 5 years.
- Must have commercial and industrial painting knowledge.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug test, and other requirements to obtain job specific badging at hospitals, banks, schools, and offices we perform work in.
- Must be proficient reading and interpreting project plans for specific jobs.
- Must be able to use technology to including web-based software.
- Must have strong communication skills and readily available via phone and email.
- Must be able to physically perform the duties of the job, which at times will require climbing extension ladders, moving materials with a weight more than 50 lbs., operate a motor vehicle, move equipment with a trailer, operate a forklift.
- Must have OSHA 30, Aerial Lift Certification, First Aid/CPR Certified.
