Position Summary
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve company goals within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs, resolve issues, and promote products.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts within company guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as production, logistics, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
- Provide territory performance reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (not mandatory).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales; experience in food, agriculture, or related industries is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the territory.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus commission.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
