Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing maintenance, inspections, record keeping and repairs on various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in industrial maintenance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will be tasked with keeping the facility organized, free of clutter, waste disposed of properly among other assigned general duties and task
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
- Conduct repairs or source contractors as necessary on HVAC systems and components.
- Maintain HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
- Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain repair and inspection logs for equipment.
- Operate forklifts.
- Keep facility organized and free form clutter.
- Coordinate repairs and annual inspection as necessary.
- Move Materials and office equipment as required.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with industrial mechanic experience.
- Proficiency in HVAC/R system operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Competence in using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Excellent analysis skills for identifying problems and proposing effective solutions.

COMPENSATION:
- Starting Salary $ $26.00 per hour based on experience.
Other duties may be assigned as aptitude and capability is determined.
