Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and determine their vehicle needs through active listening and effective communication.
- Present and demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and options to customers.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, pricing, promotions, and financing options.
- Utilize retail math to calculate payments, trade-in values, and financing terms for customers.
- Follow up with leads and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales; automotive sales experience is a plus.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Proficiency in retail math to assist customers with financial calculations.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes is desirable.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- A valid driver's license is required.
