Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD 2D Operator in the Construction Industry. You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing accurate technical detailed architectural construction drawings and blueprints.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of experience in AutoCAD 2D drafting for construction projects.
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and construction schematics
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate 2D drawings and schematics for complex projects
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Construction knowledge: Strong understanding of Construction Methods, Drafting Standards, Building Codes, Material Specifications, and Safety Regulations relevant to Construction Environments.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into comprehensive schematics
- Prepare construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details for various phases of the project
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate 2D technical drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD
- Interpret architectural plans, structural specifications, and site surveys.
- Collaborate with project managers to prepare submittal drawings and closeout documentation.
- Perform material takeoffs and calculate dimensions (slope, area, volumes).
- Conduct occasional site visits to verify measurements and gather field data.
Salary : $25 - $35
