As part of this exciting growth, Perricone Farms is seeking a proactive, strategic and experienced Production Planner / Scheduler, to join our team. This key leadership role will oversee customer interactions, manage the order-to-delivery process, and ensure exceptional service across all wholesale, retail, and distribution channels.

The Production Planner / Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules that support 24/7, three-shift juice manufacturing operations. This role balances customer demand, raw material availability, labor capacity, sanitation requirements, and equipment constraints to ensure on-time production while minimizing downtime, waste, and inventory risk. The Planner / Scheduler partners closely with Operations, QA, Maintenance, Procurement, and Warehouse teams and utilizes NetSuite as the system of record for planning, scheduling, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to support 3-shift operations.
- Sequence production runs to optimize line efficiency while considering allergen controls, flavor changeovers, sanitation cycles, and shelf-life constraints.
- Adjust schedules in real time to address equipment downtime, labor shortages, material delays, or urgent customer needs.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly to Production Managers, Supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
NetSuite & System Management
- Utilize NetSuite MRP, work orders, and demand planning tools to create and manage production schedules.
- Ensure accuracy of routings, BOMs, lead times, yields, and production calendars within NetSuite.
- Monitor system signals and exceptions; proactively resolve planning issues.
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of NetSuite planning functionality.
Inventory, Materials & Demand Coordination
- Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure raw materials, packaging, and ingredients are available to support schedules.
- Balance production plans to minimize expired materials, excess inventory, and write-offs, especially for perishable juice ingredients.
- Align production schedules with customer forecasts, orders, and promotional demand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations to ensure schedules are executable across all shifts.
- Coordinate with Quality and Food Safety teams to ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and sanitation requirements.
- Work with Maintenance to plan preventative maintenance and minimize production disruptions.
- Support leadership with planning data, KPIs, and scenario analysis.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and report KPIs such as schedule adherence, line utilization, on-time delivery, and waste.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, production flow, and communication across shifts.
- Participate in S&OP / production planning meetings as required.
Required
- 2 years of production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing (food, beverage, or CPG preferred).
- Hands-on NetSuite experience in production planning, scheduling, and/or MRP.
- Experience supporting multi-shift (3-shift or 24/7) manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, capacity planning, and material constraints.
- Proficient in Excel and production reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across operations, supply chain, QA, and leadership teams.
Preferred
- Experience in juice, beverage, food, or perishable manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with sanitation scheduling, allergen controls, and shelf-life considerations.
- Experience with demand planning or S&OP processes.
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or similar.
Work Environment & Schedule
- On-site role supporting 3-shift operations, with flexibility to adjust hours based on production needs.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
