Job Description:
United Trades of America is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for a position in Decatur, Alabama. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in electrical project management and bidding. The ideal candidate will be a local resident with proven expertise in overseeing electrical projects and estimating costs accurately to support successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Develop and prepare accurate estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and other associated costs.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather necessary project details and ensure smooth execution.
• Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide support to senior project managers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical project management and bidding.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Local candidates only (no relocation or per diem offered).
