Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Center Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and health of our patients, with responsibilities that include monitoring patients, administering dialysis treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment, identifying and addressing any complications or adverse reactions.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
• Current state RN license
• 1 year nursing experience
• Hemodialysis training completed
• Current CPR certification (AHA)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
