The Warehouse Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving incoming components from Permobil suppliers and ensuring correct data entry into the warehouse management system. Using tools such as bar-code scanners and personal computers, the Associate ensures that incoming components are received and dispositioned correctly to the warehouse replenishment teams and Incoming Inspection as necessary. This role will also work closely with the Production, Warehouse, and Receiving Supervisors. Teamwork and collaboration with these and other groups is a necessity. Adherence to all Safety practices and company policies is required.
Key Tasks
Manufacturing floor and warehouse environment.
Exposure to moderate noise, tools, and machinery.
Occasional interaction with other groups within Permobil.

Your Background
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience desired.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of the warehouse management system, Permobil supplier labelling requirements and warehouse locations. Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired. Ability to operate forklifts, stand-ups, and other material handling equipment.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to work in a team environment with other groups as necessary.
Other Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

- Physically and Visually inspect components for proper labelling and identification.
- Partner with Assembly, Incoming Inspection and Warehouse teams to understand material that is ready to move to the warehouse.
- Communicate non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers.
- Understand and use scanning tools, warehouse software and other tools as necessary.
- Be a liaison between receiving and other staff.
- Flex into other warehouse and picking roles as needed.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of Assembly operations.
