As a key contributor to our production engineering efforts, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of oil and gas production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering technology, hands-on experience in production optimization, and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
General responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with production engineers to optimize oil and gas production processes.
- Implement and monitor data-driven solutions to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Conduct analysis of well performance, reservoir behavior, and surface facilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collect and analyze production data using software tools and methodologies.
- Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with production engineers and field staff to achieve production goals.
- Participate in projects to address complex challenges and improve overall field strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to production engineering activities.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge and Skills include:
- Working knowledge of oil and gas operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of common Oil Field Data Applications.
- High preference for strong users in PowerBi or Spotfire.
- High preference for strong users in Peloton Suite.
- Preference for ability to develop, debug, and implement code for SQL.
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong consideration to applicable degrees.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas.
