ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and professional Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing pediatric office team. In this role, you will be a key part of every patient's experience — from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
You'll work directly alongside our providers to support the clinical flow of a busy pediatric clinic, caring for children of all ages and building trust with their families. Pediatric experience is preferred — but if you're the right person, we're happy to train you. What matters most is your heart for kids, your reliability, and your commitment to quality care.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Odessa, Texas location, offering a stable and rewarding career opportunity in one of the most meaningful areas of nursing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Room patients and obtain accurate vitals
- Assist providers during pediatric wellness and sick visits
- Administer vaccines and medications as ordered
- Document patient information accurately in the EHR
- Communicate clearly and warmly with parents and caregivers
- Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
- Follow all office policies and clinical protocols
- Assist with patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure outstanding patient service
REQUIREMENTS
- Active LVN license in the State of Texas (required)
- Pediatric or clinical experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds encouraged to apply)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and patient-centered attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Warmth and patience when working with children of all ages and their families
- Basic computer skills; EHR experience is a plus
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
