Supervises:     

Primary Purpose: To work closely with the principal in directing and supervising a successful teaching-learning program within a specified campus.     

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• Master's degree
• Mid-management certification
• ILD or AEL, and T-Tess Certification

            Special Knowledge Skills:

Experience:

• Successful teaching experience.
• Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer assigned personnel responsibilities in an efficient and orderly manner.
• Assume the responsibility for the proper maintenance and use of building facilities.
• Assume leadership in such student activities as assigned to him/her by the school principal.
• Serve as textbook custodian for a specified campus.
• Prepare and distribute a general bulletin each week.
• Assist the building principal in community information matters.
• Attend school functions as directed by the principal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
• Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

•  Supervise school transportation for the specified campus.
• Supervise the following: student insurance program, data processing service student identification cards, free and reduced lunch program.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
