Summary

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Bariatric Surgery Physician Assistant to join our Bellevue Medical Center team in Bellevue, Washington. 

Our comprehensive bariatric program includes two other experienced bariatric surgeons, a licensed independent social worker, dietitians, physician assistants, a program manager, a practice manager, bariatric nurses, and medical assistants.

Core Components of this position include:  

• Evaluating and managing bariatric surgery patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum
• First assisting primarily in laparoscopic and robotic cases in our ambulatory surgery center and partner hospital, Overlake.  
• Shared call responsibilities

Bellevue Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $182,351 to $214,531 (Compensation will be prorated based on FTE. Starting salary for new hires is determined by factors including education, training, and relevant experience. The salary posted includes compensation for standing call on an estimated call schedule of 1:4; actual compensation may vary depending on actual call coverage schedule.  Additional compensation is provided for activated call.)
