What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Weekends position at Perlman Clinic?
Perlman Clinic is seeking a medical assistant to work on the weekends. The medical assistant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tasking from multiple providers. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for the clinic's front desk and providing additional back-office support. Qualified candidates will have a diploma in medical assisting.
Medical Assistant responsibilities also include: project management, insurance verifications (PPO's and HMO's), answering multi-phone line system, vitals, phlebotomy, charting, checking patients in and out, collecting copays, inventory management, referrals, and scheduling.
