RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and proper storage
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep stations
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards
- Support line cooks and culinary leadership during service as needed
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
- Communicate proactively regarding inventory or product concerns

REQUIREMENTS FOR A KITCHEN PREP COOK
- 18 years old
- Good work history
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures
- Excellent knife-handling skills
- Ability to enthusiastically and thoroughly follow instructions
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to easily carry 40 lbs
Experience as a prep cook is preferred but is not required.
