Experienced Route Delivery Driver

Full-Time Position: (40 Hours per week)

Age: Our insurance requires over age 25

Days: Monday - Friday First Shift (5:45 am to approximately 4pm)

Coffee Warehouse Location: Carrollton, TX 75006

No Weekend Deliveries / No Overnight Deliveries / No "Out-of-Town" Deliveries

$24 to $25 hour

Perks & Provisions Company - a growing office coffee & vending solutions provider, specializing in the management of breakroom services for some of the best and most exciting companies in the Metroplex is looking to hire for an existing coffee delivery route and we want to find a dynamic individual ready to immerse himself or herself in our extreme customer satisfaction culture.

Job Description: In-town (no overnight work, no out-of-town work) delivery of product to client locations. Merchandising, inventorying, stocking, rotating (FIFO) product.

**This is a very physical position which requires a strong & agile physical presence with the ability to solo, dead-lift 70 lbs. This is a field oriented, delivery driver position requiring self-management skills**

Specific Physical Requirements:

• This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading and pushing/pulling a significantly high volume of products per day ranging from 20-70 pounds repeatedly during working hours.
• It also requires reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the machines across a wide variety of weather conditions.
• Ascend and descend commercial (4 ft. tall) loading docks.
• Stairs/steps – Deliveries may require ascending and descending multiple floors via stairs or ladders with products.
• The position requires pushing/pulling a hand-truck with up to 550 lbs at times, on an incline or decline throughout the day.
• The ability to slide, shift and manipulate equipment weighing up to 800 lbs.
• At times (such as peak seasons) this position requires long hours – 10 hours plus per day.
• Perks Route Salespeople must enter and exit a commercial delivery vehicle multiple times a day.

General Requirements: Professional demeanor and presentation

• Must be age 25
• Ability to show for work consistently and on time EARLY shift
• Clean driving record
• Ability to use a handheld computer for purposes of billing, routing, scheduling
• Ability to lift/manipulate bulk boxes with an ability to dead-lift 75 lbs
• Ability to maneuver a two-wheel dolly loaded to approximately 150 lbs / ability to use a four-wheel dolly loaded to approximately 400 lbs
• Physical agility and capability to perform the work including but not limited to, crawling, bending over, working in tight spaces under countertops, manipulating breakroom equipment weighing 20 – 75 pounds, climbing multiple flights of stairs
• Physical ability / stamina to enter and exit a commercial, box truck multiple times throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
