The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to serve as a High School Business Teacher beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for business education, foster meaningful student engagement, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all learners.
Certification and/or Licensure Requirements
This position requires Pennsylvania certificaiton in Business, Computer, and Information Technology.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of secondary learners and effective instructional practices.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to integrate technology, real-world business applications, and career readiness skills into instruction.
Knowledge of business-related content areas such as entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, accounting, and/or personal finance.
Commitment to fostering a culturally responsive and student-centered learning environment.
Compensation
The starting salary will be determined as outlined in the Perkiomen Valley Education Association Agreement.
Salary : $57,880 - $114,248
