Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing menu recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed to support kitchen operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or as a server is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and payments.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
