Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS handhelds
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and card transactions accurately tableside
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring proper food presentation in line with safety standards
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is helpful
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while delivering excellent guest relations
- Skills in upselling menu items to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
