Job Description:
Perkins Lawn Care & Excavation is looking to hire two dependable and hardworking Landscape & Excavation Laborers to join our team immediately. This position includes a wide range of outdoor work throughout the year, including landscaping, excavation, and winter services. Our projects include septic system installation, driveway installation, and full site work, offering hands-on experience in multiple areas of the trade.
No prior experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Mulch installation and planting
- Lawn mowing and weed whacking
- Hedge and shrub trimming
- Assisting with excavation projects (grading, trenching, site prep)
- Septic system installation and repairs
- Driveway installation (gravel, prep, grading)
- Site work and land clearing
- Operating landscaping and excavation equipment (when qualified)
- Hardscape installation support (patios, walkways, retaining walls)
- General labor and job site cleanup
- Snow plowing and winter maintenance
Qualifications:
- Experience in landscaping or excavation is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
- Equipment operating experience is a plus (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.)
- Hardscape experience is a plus
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing manual labor
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license is a plus
