Shifts Available
- Brunch (6:30am to 2:30pm availability)
- Dinner (3:30pm to 9:30pm availability)
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with basic math proficiency.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Support bar operations, contributing to a lively atmosphere while maintaining professionalism.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in restaurant dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge that enhances your ability to assist guests confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with serving in an upscale restaurant or lively bar environments is advantageous.
