Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations during the night shift, including supervising staff, coordinating food preparation, and ensuring timely service
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment
- Supervise kitchen activities such as cooking, food handling, inventory control, and food production to maintain quality standards
- Handle cash transactions, POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and perform cash handling duties accurately
- Train and develop team members on food service procedures, customer service excellence, and safety practices
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and control food costs to support budget adherence
- Lead staff scheduling, interview potential team members, and manage shift transitions smoothly to maximize productivity
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers while resolving any issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience managing in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on night shifts
- Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Excellent team management abilities including training & development, interviewing, and performance coaching
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management is highly desirable
- Previous hotel or casual dining experience is a plus; barista or coffee experience is beneficial but not required
