About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team and help lead impactful infrastructure projects across the region.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bid proposals
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners
- Track project costs, change orders, and production quantities
- Attend pre-bid meetings, progress meetings, and site visits
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and company policies
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams
Qualifications
- Experience in heavy highway, civil, roadway, bridge, or infrastructure construction
- Experience in project management, estimating, or both
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and DOT requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management/estimating software
- Experience with HeavyJob/HeavyBid, required
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Skills
- Ohio DOT or public infrastructure project experience
- Experience with earthwork, asphalt, concrete, utilities, or structures
- Knowledge of heavy civil construction operations and production
