Perion is seeking an experienced Accountant on a Hybrid basis to provide accounting support to our finance department. This role will be responsible for producing accurate and timely reconciliations of assigned accounts, preparing journal entries and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX. This role is essential to maintaining the continuity of our accounting operations, with a primary focus on the month-end close process and providing support during the annual audit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily and monthly journal entries
- Review daily accounting transactions
- Assist with the monthly financial close by preparing account reconciliations, analyzing accounts such as prepaids, accrued expenses, fixed assets, recording journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting analysis and documentation
- Support the preparation of schedules and documentation for internal and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal company policies
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed
Profile and Experience:
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience is required
- Undergraduate degree in accounting required; CPA preferred
- Experience at a publicly traded company and knowledge of SOX is a strong plus
- Strong Excel skills including data tables, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data
- Must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Netsuite a plus
