We're hiring an Account Manager with deep social-platform expertise to own and grow brand relationships within Outmax's social advertising practice. Your focus is Meta, TikTok, and adjacent social platforms—you'll be the go-to expert who helps brands understand how Outmax's AI optimization layers onto their social campaigns to deliver measurable performance gains.
This is a client-facing, revenue-accountable role. You'll manage day-to-day brand relationships, lead RFP responses, and serve as the social subject-matter expert across the sales cycle. You need to be equally comfortable presenting a QBR to a VP of Digital and walking a brand's paid-social team through campaign setup and optimization strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship & Revenue Growth
- Own a portfolio of brand accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all social advertising engagements powered by Outmax.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with brand-side stakeholders—paid-social leads, performance-marketing directors, and digital VPs.
- Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, growing social spend and platform coverage over time.
- Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables with precision, ensuring Outmax consistently over-delivers on commitments.
- Lead the response to RFPs and RFIs from brand prospects, crafting compelling proposals that position Outmax's social optimization as the differentiated solution.
- Collaborate with the Sales Engineering and BD teams to build custom pitch materials, competitive analyses, and media plans for social-first opportunities.
- Develop reusable RFP frameworks, case-study libraries, and social-specific sell sheets that accelerate response time and quality.
- Participate in prospect pitches and finalist presentations as the social-platform authority.
- Serve as Outmax's internal and external expert on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok advertising: auction mechanics, targeting capabilities, creative best practices, measurement, and API integrations.
- Stay ahead of platform updates, policy changes, and beta programs; translate these into actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
- Advise brands on social-campaign architecture—audience segmentation, creative strategy, attribution setup—and how Outmax's AI enhances each layer.
- Bridge the gap between social-platform capabilities and Outmax's optimization technology, helping brands see the compounding value.
- Monitor live social campaigns and proactively surface optimization recommendations to brand teams, reinforcing confidence in Outmax.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that combine platform performance data, Outmax model insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate with Data Science and Engineering on measurement challenges specific to social—attribution windows, view-through modeling, incrementality testing.
- Turn strong performance into documented case studies and testimonials that fuel the next sales conversation.
- Channel structured client feedback—feature requests, social-platform integration gaps, competitive threats—directly into the Product roadmap.
- Partner with Marketing to produce social-focused thought leadership: blog posts, webinar content, and event presentations.
- Represent Outmax at social-advertising industry events, Meta and TikTok partner summits, and brand conferences.
- 4 years in an Account Management, Client Success, or Sales role focused on social advertising within adtech, a social platform, or a performance-marketing agency.
- Deep working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager: campaign structures, bidding strategies, audience tools, Conversions API, and reporting.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a book of brand-direct accounts ($1M in annual social spend).
- Strong RFP and proposal-writing skills—ability to synthesize technical product capabilities into persuasive, brand-friendly narratives.
- Excellent communicator who can present to a VP of Digital, a paid-social manager, and a procurement team with equal clarity.
- Commercially minded: comfortable owning revenue targets, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene.
- Based in New York City; willing to travel domestically for client meetings and industry events (~15–25%).
- Direct brand-side or brand-direct selling experience (as opposed to agency-only).
- Experience with emerging social platforms beyond Meta and TikTok (Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube Shorts).
- Familiarity with programmatic social buying, social DSPs, or API-based campaign management.
- Exposure to AI/ML-powered optimization products and the ability to articulate their value without deep technical jargon.
- Existing relationships with Fortune 500 brand paid-social or performance-marketing teams.
- Familiarity with carbon-measurement frameworks in digital advertising (Scope3, Ad Net Zero).
