Role Description
This is a part time position for Tuesdays 8:30-3:30 in our Durham and Raleigh location with potential to add more time.
This is a part time, on-site position located in Durham, NC. The Registered Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, including performing dental cleanings, assessing oral health, and educating patients on proper hygiene practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting dental prophylaxis, assisting in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease, and collaborating closely with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety and care, and a passion for improving patients’ oral health.
Qualifications
- Experience in Dentistry and Dental Care
- Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis techniques
- Knowledge and skills in preventing and treating Periodontal Disease
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced dental practice
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of North Carolina
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile working environment
- Experience with dental software systems is a plus
- Positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional patient care
